No API key, no broker to connect, no initial setup to fill in. The app opens on a ready window, and everything you write stays on your machine.

02 FIVE MINUTES

Tell it what matters to you.

Your goals for the week, your rules, the habits you want to keep, and your instrument settings. It’s the only time you configure anything: after that, the app adapts.

  • Three goals maximum to start — the rest comes later.
  • Personal rules written once, brought back when they matter.
  • Point value and risk thresholds remembered per instrument.

03 EVERY DAY

Open it in the morning, that’s all.

It shows you the three things to do now, works out what needs working out, and records the rest by itself. By evening your journal is already written and your statistics are up to date.

    Syncing End-to-end encrypted: the key is derived from your password and never leaves your devices. Can be switched off device by device.
    Offline operation Complete, apart from the market briefing, which needs the network.
    Account Required for the licence, billing and syncing.
    Broker connection None. Shale neither reads nor places orders.
    API keys None for the calculator or the market data. One LLM key (Gemini or Groq), your own, purely to write the briefing.
    Backup Time Machine compatible; full manual export at any time.
